I remember going to other people's houses and being transfixed by the huge paper lantern light shades and simple furniture and then going home and telling my mum all about it. I even once *pretended* to someone that we went to Habitat!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22701459.post-1163064477085500082006-11-09T09:27:00.000+00:002006-11-09T09:27:00.000+00:00Another Habitat family here! When we lived in Orkney we had to use the mail order catalogue (the arrival of a new one was a big event) but when we moved to Yorkshire no shopping trip to Leeds was complete without a look round Habitat (we were hard up and couldn't really afford anything but loved to look). Actually I must be third generation Habitat as my grandparents bought lots of things from there, as well as Heals.

I've been wondering when all the Christmas stuff was going to come in and as I've got a few things I need to get from Shandwick Place this lunch hour, gues where I'll be having a quick browse?!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22701459.post-1163063590149803242006-11-09T09:13:00.000+00:002006-11-09T09:13:00.000+00:00oh yes, we were a Habitat family too, especially a...oh yes, we were a Habitat family too, especially at Christmas. I used to love going to the Habitat and Heal's stores that are next to each other on Tottenham Court Road in London, but the best Habitat in town now is definitely the new one on Regent Street.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22701459.post-1163050944885790462006-11-09T05:42:00.000+00:002006-11-09T05:42:00.000+00:00I loved the decoration shops from when I was a sma...I loved the decoration shops from when I was a small girl.. this thing is in your blood or not...
and I love Xmas decorations too..
you know.. maybe the beaded one is classier..
