I am not the only one round here who sleeps through rare sunny days...
We call him Heath (get it, Heath Hedger). I nearly stepped on him last month as he snoozed on a wee sunny patch on the narrow path. You can see more of the wildlife in my garden on my Folia pages.
I've been sleeping rather a lot too, needed to and felt bristly about it, wanting to be up and out, not coiled up in heap of blankets. Feel I haven't had the chance to warm my body and prepare for winter what with this unsummery cool damp August-weather. Hoping that warm September will make up it.
ah! you made my day cally.. ... we missed our hedgehogs in germany this year. heath hedger is sweet! hope this finds you feeling a bit better today. with sunshine, susan
My neighbor keeps hedgehogs as pets, although they are not native to our area. I think it would be much nicer to have a natural hedgehog like Heath that shared my garden like a chipmunk or a rabbit. He is very sweet. I hope you are feeling better, Cally. A little snooze in the sun is good for everyone.
So cute! We had one who would sneak into our kitchen for cat crunchies! The Hawaiian cats were horrified...they did not know what it was! Rest up Cally, I wish you well.
I've been missing you and thinking about you a lot recently- I hope you aren't too unwell at the moment and i'd love to send you something in the mail if you got a chance to email me your address. take care and wrap up warm. xx
i miss your posts. you have been 'blog napping' for a long time - i hope all is well and that you're just too busy and too happy waste time puttering around with your blog.
I also miss your posts. I wonder how you are? (A blogger with the same diagnosis as you leaves the blogging to her partner while feeling bad. Could that be a good idea for you too?) Hoping to see you back soon on the blog. Stina in Sweden
Hello Cally, just passing by... I really hope your are well and enjoying this beautiful autumn. I'm sending you warm hugs and positive vibes. Miss you.
I've just stumbled across your blog while distracting myself from doing my dissertation. Im studying jewellery at Grays School of Art and finding your blog archive full of some incredible treasures. Currently finding it hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel (ie. Degree show!) and your blog is a breath of fresh air, reminds me i really need to work for myself more often.. Hope you are well, will be following your blog from now on :) Shar x
Haven't peeked at your blog for AGES and when I do I see you haven't been blogging for ages. I hope you're doing OK and just wanted to add my name to the chorus of people who miss you...
Dear Cally, Happy New Year to you! How are you? Hope your continued absence from your blog doesn't mean you're worse. Would really like to send you something - write me an e-mail with your address if you'd like to receive some 'real' mail. Best wishes!
Thank you for taking time to comment. I really enjoy & appreciate your responses. I do my best to reply if you ask questions, though it's not always possible when M.E. is bad.
