oh, it's been a long time since i last came here...but your blog is always gorgeous and your pics are amazing!!!
I second that! I do enjoy it very much and it's so nice to find British blogs (i've not found many exciting ones, yet...). You mentioned a while back about being interested in Scottish artists, so I will plug a friend of mine who is a great textile artist and lives in Stirlingshire. She has a page on Craft Scotland http://www.craftscotland.org/makers_search_results_by_ID.html?MakerID=362best wishesRuth
I've replied on my blog!thanks
Hi Cally! So glad you are back in the blog sphere...! I missed you! I have a question for you. I haven't asked anyone about this yet, but its really bothering me. I have had 2 people (both photographers) email me and insist that I take their work off my sight, as I didn't ask them permission to post anything. It really got me thinking. I have had at least 8 people thank me for posting their things on my blog, but of course I seem to be stuck on these two. Do you ever ask for permission to post what you post? What are your thoughts on this? Just curious...
I emailed a full reply to Ulla, but for anyone who is interested... I usuall get a sense of whether or not someone would want to be asked, in which case I email to say I've blogged about them (giving a link) but that I can remove the pic if they'd rather it wasn't on there. Many sites secify that you should ask permission and with those I email first and only blog when they say ok.And with other bloggers most people are happy to have you promoting their work as long as you link and give credit.
thanks for the link, I've been listening to her for about a week or so. Brilliant.
