Had my official meeting today and definitely being made redundant. Deary me, strange days. I consoled/celebrated with a tiramisu! Food is so much better when it's fun. See how I like to play with my banana before I make a smoothie. Why do so many parents say 'don't play with your food'? PLAY, play with it!

Hi!
Just found your blog the other day. Very gentle and sophisticated imagery.I Love all the blue in your photos. And I just realised we are practically neighbours as I live in Gateshead (makes a change from all the bloggers in Portland!) I'm sorry about the redundancy. I've been there and the trick is not to panic and jump too quickly into the next job (I've made that mistake, let me tell you.) Glad I found your blog!
Hello, I just found your blog and wanted to say that I like your photographs. I am also sorry about your redundancy. I was made redundant 2 years ago and it was or rather still is a big pain. I started my own business some time ago because it's impossible to find a new job in Berlin when you're over 25... - unfortunately it's not really the right thing for me... Wish you the best of luck!
Karen- Thank you :0) I laughed when I read you were from Gateshead, if you look in my archives, not sure where, you'll see one of my 'Self Portrait Tuesday' pics is from my last visit to Gateshead when I (most out of character) joined in the Spencer Tunick photoshoot! I'll visit your blog when I'm back on my own computer with broadband. Love the title of it.
Julie- I'm not thrilled by yellow either, though it was my fave colour as a young child. But I do like it in fruit. Well, any food really!
Delphine- Hi, nice to meet you here and happy I could brighten your day.
Christine- Wow, so many new visitors on this post. Hi to you too. Sorry to hear about your redundancy.I console myself tha at least I wasn't sacked, which is what I was expecting after being honest with my OUTRAGEOUS manager. Hope you find something that feels right for you. Hope we both do. I'd visit your blog but I can't access your profile or page?
