Question, does anyone know how loud a Vitamix sounds in a Mobile Home?
Update 18th July 2011: I bought it, and it is loud, but I don't need my things to be smooth so I mostly only have it on for 10-30 seconds. The violence of it still freaks me out a bit and my heart races with fear before I hit the button, I'm sure my face is a picture of scrunched up worry as if it's going to suck me in and mash me into a savoury dip. I certainly wouldn't dream of having it on long enough to make soup, but that's not why I wanted it anyway. Three days in it's already invaluable.

loving your posts...i think for the amount of time you would be using it, it should be just fine......
I borrowed one from a neighbor because I had been wanting (lusting, actually!!) one for a long time. I decided against it, despite the neat things you can do with it. I hate noise....and yes, it's terrible. If you REALLY want one, can you set up an "outdoor" space to use it in?
Cally... it's been SO long! How are you?? Loving all your beautiful photos - we got a pup, so our gardening plans are on hold 'till next year as he just loves digging everything up ;)
... we've looked at the VitaMix so many times - looks awesome. Maybe next time it's on flexipay we will splurge, the mister likes the look of quick scrambled eggs :)))
xo to you.
Hi Abigail, I'm OK, muddling along and though not well the Vitamix has got my brain working well enough to do some blog posts, so I'm liking that.
Can def. recommend buying one, it is fantastic! I can honestly say it has changed my life.
Hope the move has done the same for you life. I imagine your friends and family have become known faces on the ferry.
