Well it seems like my broadband is working, Blogger is working and the camera to computer connection is working so there is no excuse not to start showing you some of my crafty pieces. All my artwork is packed away (and most of my craft and design stuff) but I've got photo's of things I've been managed to unpack or make recently for christmas, birthdays, swaps etc.

Also going to the same person is one of my mini collages...
They are inspired by old fashioned children's books from a time when things seemed simpler, no computer games, no TV. Girls sewed and boys learned morse code, all very sexist but if you ignore that therre are so many sweet gems and lovely things to keep their minds occupied. And not just young minds, I love doing all these things myself. I just have to laugh when they talk about careers - boys can be doctors but not girls, though they make excellent nurses, and likewise I expect boys are not meant to be nurses so thank goodness for change otherwise the world would be missing out on Alicia's Andy, the multi talented knitting nurse!
