radish lamp

"Ok, she's taking this radish thing too far!" I hear you cry. But this one inspired me to make a new lamp! I popped my little radish onto a photo of someone's room from a book so you could imagine the effect. I'm sure you will all be thinking that you, too, would like a radish lamp.

It's a wee while since I last did any lighting (like, not since I've had no walls for the sockets!) but I like the idea of making a colourful radish inspired lamp. One of the 1st fully sculptural ones I ever made had a kind of root-like bit on it, though it was semi transparent and colourless. I reckon with that shot of colour it'd have a very festive chinese lantern feel to it.

So anyway, the eating went well, thin raw slice, peppery, but not so much it would sting, nice. And the steamed halves, fantastic! They are so crunchy to pop in your mouth and they go pale pink. Photo soon, no time to do just now, need to sleep (now that I'm older!!!).
