Loved the Jasmine shadow on a step. All the thistles in the fields are setting seed (actually, I must show you my thistle work). The sun shone all day, hot sun but with a gentle breeze that kept the air fresh and wonderful. You could feel the happiness in the air, and hear a lot of lawn mowing and fence building going on.

Found your blog via another blog today and I must say your photography is wonderful. We were in Scotland (from the US) last month. What a lovely country. I have pictures of a field with white puffy flowers and for whatever reason I didn't realize they were thistle until I saw your photo. I'd love to see more if you post them.
