What you don't see is the cat trying to eat these while I took the pictures. He was very persistent- those ends were not frayed till he gummed them (poor bugger only has 2 teeth so everything gets gummed, like a lizard).

this is so beautiful cally, i'm so drawn to shadow and contrast and lines, so this is right up my street! gorgeous pic.

(Mr. Sebastian has only about 3 or so teeth so we must be sure his food isn't the flaked or chunk kind. He gums his stuff too. )
