Frost & fences

Hello again Liz, I forgot I also had these ones from the other week. Blurb about that day in my comments for this post.

Hi Liz...
Too pooped to get into my email as well as my blog so here's the blurb that goes with that day.
Mum wanted giant hogweed for Christmas so I went further than usual, it's only 10 minutes further but you know what a killer those 10mins are when you're energy is gone. I failed with the hogweed (Mr P went back and got it for me) and I wiped myself out for days...but the sight of that frost made it worth it. I've never know 3 days of true dry frost in this country, the air is always moist at some point and changes the structure of the crystals. I had to go to the Doc the next day. A mist had rolled in through the night and was cursing my exhaustion as it meant I just couldn't take photo's of the incredible frosty build-up that had grown on everything. Ornamental grasses and spiders webs looked so incredible with massive crystal growth on them, some were about 6mm thick with frost so the hedges and fences near the surgery looked totally magical.
