Susan, since you love shadows I thought you might like my papercut shadows from 1991. They were part of my 'The Growth of Plants' work, that being the title of the book they were cut from and plant microscopy influencing the drawings and subsequent papercuts. I've always loved the shadows more than the cuts themselves...

These are lovely cally... like your berries and colours you have a great take on things. I love the softness and joy that most adults lose... in the simple things of life :)
This is beautiful work, you must have so much patience! Love your photographic captures too.x
I know I'm always talking about what will happen when I have my home back, but once again, i have plans to rephotograph a lot of my old work, and possible even expand on it and combine it with more recent works and materials. But there's no way I'll be taking out my delicate piece in my current building site type environment.
oh cally.
thanks so much for sharing these as a fellow fan of shadows.... sigh.
LOVELY... [more more!]
