White magnetic curtain

Tough week, too tired to blog. Roll on the weekend.
I like magnets, so I'm intrigued by this curtain that can be shaped any way you like, I like when practicality is also playful...

Dear Cally,
I am very moved by your artwork and your very honest and heartfelt words.

I had CFS/ME from about 1995 to 2000 while I was studying sculpture in art school. Needless to say, it was so frustrating (dumb doctors, etc.) and depressing not to be able to work in my studio and attend classes. I just want to give you a bit of hope that you can and will feel better eventually, and that you may be surprised about the artistic gifts that such circumstances bring.

Since I couldn't work in my studio, I started pricking holes in paper (love your examples!) and sewing into the drawings that I made with my mother's hair. I am still making the work now, 10 years later, and it has given me so much. I have a blog about it if you're curious.

Anyway, hang in there, try as much alternative medicine as you can afford (acupuncture, herbs and shiatsu really helped me) and just know that this will not last forever.

Best wishes,
Jenn
