Maria Börjesson

So nice how this piece by Maria Börjesson looks like pine cones.

The house clearing continues. I entire bin bag now filled with hand shredded paper (stuff that needed shredding rather than recycling) which will be mixed with grass clippings and next autumn or spring will be great compost for happy plants.

I love composting so much, as much as reading a good magazine. Truly. I am the sort of person who has no qualms about asking men to pee onto my leaf pile (it speeds and improves the composting) to make the best leafmould for my plants. It really is the best stuff ever.

OMG! I never believed Mr. Lovee, an avid composter. He has special places in the yard, including the compost where he pees. I used to freak out, now I am used to it.. 7 years later.. hee hee.... We are avid composters... a bin my the sink holds all fruit and veggie and coffee and light paper treasures.. dumped everyother day to make a rich soil.
